1/2 Million Years Later…The Squiggle in Design – Again!

We now know that the Squiggle was the first known visual sign of man’s cognitive ability and conceptual thinking from the Zigzag shell in Java up to 500,000 years ago; and the zigzag ‘branded’ ochre tool at Blombos. Is this re-inventing the wheel when we use the Squiggle to conceptualize the design process and use it in design.
